I’m all alone,
Here without you.
I wait by the phone,
Unsure of what else to do.
When you’re young,
A broken heart is never easy.
The words you said stung,
Going on without you makes me uneasy.
Everytime you go,
My heart breaks a little more.
My smile is just for show,
The sorrow in my heart begins to pour.
The road I’m on
Is not the best for me.
But you’re gone
And it’s time for me to flee.
It’s not my time for love,
This I believe.
But I wish on the stars above
That I am able to grieve.
Our love is done.
So, to a place of peace
I will run,
In hopes my heartbreak will cease.
