Autumn Sky

My life is a
Place that is strange
I stop to smell a flower
And wonder what for
I listen to the birds
As they fly over and
I watch the butterflies
As I smile at the
Thought of the autumn
And the beautiful night sky.

This is a Golden Shovel Poem. In a golden shovel poem, the last word of each line is a word from another poem. The last word of each line of my poem is a word of  Matsuo Basho's poem A Strange Flower.
